Bio

Sam White is a Australian actor and director from Sydney. He was Raised and born in Queensland Australia where he grew up in the surfing town known as ” Surfers Paradise”. His Father an anaesthesiologist and Mother a nurse,  driving past the nearby sound-stages had Sam knowing his path very from very early on. The Village Roadshow back lot gave Sam the perfect environment to spend considerable time working on big budget sets in a location that was leading Australia in US feature films and TV series production.

Sam excelled in secondary school film and television, and producing his first film “Larmor Lament” in his final year. Sam’s producing skills could be scene at the age of 16 and while filming “Lamor Lament” Sam managed to pursued local council and gain full permission to block off the main street of the town, stopping traffic for 10 mins so the student could get the shot he needed. Sam graduated in 2005 with a diploma of screen from The Queensland School of Film and Television followed by an internship at the local major Television network. He the went on to co-produce two reality series for distribution in the United Kingdom. In 2010, Sam discovered he had a natural flair for acting. Sam proceeded to study  at The Australian Film and Television Academy for two years. In 2011, Sam commenced a year with Emmy awarding winning US casting director Tom McSweeney. It was here he connected with the acting craft and having an already encyclopaedic knowledge of a film set, allowed him to acquire roles in television and feature films with leading roles in four short films and two small roles in US feature films.

In 2014 Sam wrote directed and produced “People you May Know” a short film based on the dangers of social media and was also second unit director on the action feature film “LadyKiller”. Signing for an acting role in the TV series The Actors Space in 2014 Sam has spent time in Nashville directing a feature film and filming music videos for local country artists. Towards the end of 2014 , Sam stared along side Chris Noth ( Sex In The City ) in a international marketing campaign for Chivas Regal scotch whisky. In December 2014 Sam directed Ray Scotts “Drinkin’ Beer” music video in Nashville, which was featured in Rolling Stone as number 18 as the top 25 best country songs of 2014. Sam is a much sought after international actor, producer and director , 2015 will see Sam White’s biggest year yet.
